The Crown Series

This series of sculptural pieces were created to represent different emotional states I have found myself in. I found this quite an interesting to explore my own thoughts and emotions and when i was thinking about how to represent these through art the idea of the crown came to me.

The Crown of Thorns was an obvious inspiration, related to betrayal and pain, but i felt there were so many other emotional states, good and bad, that could also be represented by a crown that we wear at times.
